Worms versus Robots – April 24th 2010

All day at Hilperton Site

 As part of our science year we are holding a fun family day!  Come and build robots the morning, charm worms at lunchtime and watch the robot wars in the afternoon!

 We have a BBQ, and ice creams so come and enjoy the sunshine and support your school.

 Free Lego Robot workshop from 10am -12.15pm and Beebot workshops all morning starting every half an hour from 10am.

 Ride on a real miniature steam train!

 Race a snail!

 Charm worms out of the ground and win a fabulous trophy.  Register by 1.15pm to take part.  £2 a team. 

 At 2.30pm the Robots Wars begin – only £1 for a great combat show with special guest robots and wars between the robots built by teams from the Mead.  Tickets available on the door.

Family Barn Dance

This will be a great family night out – with traditional Barn Dance Band ‘Spill the Whisky’ , a bar and delicious hog roast and ploughman’s buffet.

New Pond at Wingfield

We are making a new pond and nature garden at the Wingfield Site.  With the great help of Bradford on Avon Rotary Club the area had been cleared and hole dug!

Pond is now completed and looks great – let us know what you think of it!
