How the auction works

Bids go up in £5 steps from the reserve. The leading bid is shown on each lot and updates as soon as someone bids, so you can always see what it takes to win. Bidding closes at the Christmas Fair on 6 December, and the treasurer confirms every winning bid by email before taking payment. Lots are donated by local businesses — nothing is bought in, so every pound raised is profit for the school.
